Cross-Platform?
This event was originally going to be cross-platform or platform agnostic, but we decided to break it out into separate events. The first event will be on X or BlueSky exclusively in order to avoid a more watered down experience.
SFF?
We do not wish to exclude our Fantasy brethren, but SF being a much smaller genre in the literary scene, we don’t want it to be overshadowed by our bigger cousin since this is a SF specific event. So, Fantasy will be considered a sub-genre and denoted with the proper hashtag #F.

Likes & Reposts
Likes should be reserved for the industry (Agents, presses, etc.). But please show your support for the community by reposting your favorite pitches.
How to Act?
As with all things in the literary scene you should act professional, nice, kind and supportive. In other words; don’t be an asshole.
NO A.I.
No AI writing or art is allowed in this event. Now if an actual Artificial Intelligence becomes self-aware and decides to write a MS, we will cross that bridge when we get to it, this is after all Science Fiction!
About us
We are just writers like you. But we saw their were no Sci-Fi specific Pitch events, so here we are.

Jayme L. Peck (Links) has a love for all things Science Fiction. He is, currently, an unpublished writer, writing, revising and editing his way to traditional publishing. He is a true believer that science fiction is an excellent tool to better understand the world we live in.

Drew McDowell (Links) is an SFF writer who lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with his family. He holds a BS and MA in sociology from Arizona State. When not writing, he is either gaming, exploring ghost towns, or reading.
